We have reached the halfway point of the Gallagher Premiership in what is a crazy season. Irish have only won 3 games but sit above Tigers, Wasps and Bath who have all won more games. At least we don’t have 1 team running away with the league this year but you do wonder if teams like Gloucester and Worcester will throw the towel in now that there’s no relegation.

Exeter have been vulnerable this season and also are missing some key players to England. However Sale have slipped up in the last couple of rounds so I’m backing the visiting side in a close one. I don’t think it will be close at Bristol where Tigers have not won away all season making that an easy pick.
Third visiting fourth, hum Falcons v Quins is a really intriguing game. I’m backing Falcons to rediscover some of their early season form which is perhaps foolhardy considering Quins have won their last 4 games by over 10 points…
Irish are another side that haven’t won away from home so it’s easy to pick Wasps in that game. Oh boy you can’t say that the next game as twelfth hosts eleventh but with the threat of relegation removed does anyone really care? Essentially I’m going with home advantage.
Finally a resurgent Saints host Bath who are also going well. Saints are on 4 a game winning streak including 3 games away from home. Bath have also picked up a couple of wins recently but I have to go with that winning knowhow that Saints have picked up.
