Here are my Top 14 Round 13 Predictions:
An easy pick first up to go with Bordeaux as Toulon’s only away win was against Agen (the side that haven’t won a game all season). So go home win.
Since Toulouse have had their internationals back they have been on a winning run. Montpellier haven’t shown enough this season to suggest they’ll stop this juggernaut.
As I said before Agen haven’t won a game all season and as they are hosting the table toppers it’s looking like a big loss at home.
Bayonne v Pau is a tough one to call. I think it’ll come down to a couple of points either way. After a run of 4 losses by just a score Pau won last weekend. That will do the world of good for their moral and is the kind of thing that can turn a season. Add to that Bayonne have lost a couple on the bounce but they have been half decent at home.
Lyon should win at home, the only reason that I’ve gone for a small margin is that they tend to win by small margins. I can’t see Casters winning though.
Brive are on a run of 3 wins but 2 of those are against the bottom 2 teams in the league. Stade might have lost last weekend but they should bounce back at home. Again I’ve gone by a small margin as that’s been the result in Stades last 3 games.
Clermont v Racing is the game of the round, Clermont have lost their last 2 games however they are at home and they are a better side than their record suggests. Racing will give everyone a good game either home or away but I think they’ll come up short this weekend.
|Bordeaux Begles v Toulon||Bordeaux Begles by 5|
|Montpellier v Toulouse||Toulouse by 5|
|Agen v La Rochelle||La Rochelle by 15|
|Bayonne v Pau||Bayonne by 3|
|Lyon v Castres||Lyon by 5|
|Stade Francais v Brive||Stade Francais by 2|
|ASM Clermont Auvergne v Racing 92||ASM Clermont Auvergne by 5|
Record So Far
Over all I’m 52 from 76 or 68%, not great however this COVID interrupted season is proving to be difficult to pick (well for me at least).
