Here are my Top 14 Round 11 Predictions:
OK so here’s my thought process in my picks this week. Clermont are going well and Montpellier have regressed again after those back to back wins. Clearly go with the home side.
Bordeaux are 3/3 at home and you have to back that kind of form. Racing are going well but have lost a couple on the road so a good opportunity for Bordeaux to climb a couple of places maybe.
Bayonne have only lost once at home this season but there’s a good reason that Toulouse are second in the table. That’s because they are winning games home and away. Against a lower table side like this Toulouse should get the points.
Lyon v La Rochelle has to be the game of the round. Lyon might be 6th in the table but they haven’t lost in over 2 months now. La Rochelle are flying high but they are only 2/4 away from home. Lyon with a great opportunity here and Toulouse will be supporting them all the way.
Pau v Castre. I’m not allowed to pick both teams to lose am I? 2 really poor records so just go with the home side. You could say the same again with Agen and Brive but Agen haven’t just lost every game but they have been losing big. This is a great opportunity for Brive to get some much needed points.
Toulon are at that pointy end of the table. However it’s off some great home form. Away they are 1/4 which isn’t great let’s be honest. Stade can take on the top sides as we can see from their wins over La Rochelle and Toulouse at home. Sure they lost to Racing at home but I think they will still take it.
|ASM Clermont Auvergne v Montpellier||ASM Clermont Auvergne by 7|
|Bordeaux Begles v Racing 92||Bordeaux Begles by 5|
|Bayonne v Toulouse||Toulouse by 3|
|Lyon v La Rochelle||Lyon by 3|
|Pau v Castres||Pau by 3|
|Agen v Brive||Brive by 3|
|Stade Francais v Toulon||Stade Francais by 3|
Record So Far
Over all I’m 44 from 63 or 70%, not great but better than I’m doing in the Premiership!!!
