The All Blacks returned some semblance of normality last weekend with a dominant victory over the Pumas. You can check out our review of that game and all the other action from last weekend on the Rugby Review Show.

The The Rugby Championship is effectively decided with New Zealand the winners. Argentina and Australia can mathematically win it but they’d need to win by 90 and 100 points respectively. Still there’s a lot riding on this game for the coaches.
Australia v Argentina – Australia by 7
The Wallabies were very unhappy after the draw 2 weeks ago. They really felt like they should have closed out that game and put themselves in the box seat for the championship. That didn’t happen and not it’s a matter of making sure they don’t pick up the wooden spoon.
For the Pumas it’s a matter of what do they have left in the tank? With 4 test matches in 4 consecutive weekends, this was always going to be a full tour squad effort. 10 changes were made last weekend and I’m sure we’ll see quite a few this weekend too.
Also there will be fallout from Pablo Matera’s 7 year old tweets that were racist. He has apologised for them and we’ll have to see if the management take any action against their captain.
The Pumas have really raised the bar this tournament and performed above everyones expectations especially considering how little rugby they’ve had this year. However I think that this is going to be one game too far for them and I expect the Wallabies to bounce back.
Record So Far
2 from 5, if I’m lucky I’ll end up with a 50% record…..
