Top 14 2020-2021 Round 9 Predictions

So far this season in the Top 14 9 games have been postponed due to covid. However they solider on.

So here are my predictions but who knows how many of the games will actually go ahead.

Here are my Top 14 Round 9 Predictions:

There’s a few games here where I’m really not sure which way they’ll go. I’ve gone for the home side between Bayonne and Montpellier but not with any confidence. For Pau v Toulouse I’ve gone home as well as Toulouse may have players missing with France.

NOTE: TAB betting team said this when I asked where the France v Fiji odds were:

“Yes those odds will be released tomorrow once the teams have been named. There is significant uncertainty surrounding the lineups due to covid and  French club rugby rules around which players can be released for international rugby and when.”

Castres and Clermont are much easier home picks. Agen v Toulon I’ve gone away even though I know Toulon can’t travel but Agen can’t play….

Racing and La Rochelle are 2 of the top teams overall in the table so I think travelling to lower table opposition shouldn’t prove too difficult.

4 home wins and 3 away wins, we’ll see how it goes as I’m again breaking with the Top 14 rule of “go with the home team”….

Castres v Bordeaux Begles Castres by 5
Pau v Toulouse Pau by 3
Agen v Toulon Toulon by 5
Bayonne v Montpellier Bayonne by 3
Brive v Racing 92 Racing 92 by 7
Stade Francais v La Rochelle La Rochelle by 5
ASM Clermont Auvergne v Lyon ASM Clermont Auvergne by 10

Record So Far

Over all I’m 34 from 47 or 72%, I’m happy with how I’m going considering how the season is such a mess.
