We now know tow out of the three teams that will be making the Super Rugby AU finals. The second game this weekend is all important as it’s the last game for the Waratahs.

I’m testing my Super Rugby picks against the TAB in my series DrivingMaul v The Bookie. Check out how I did in Super Rugby restart Round 12.

Rebels v Western Force – Rebels by 20

Put simply the Rebels have to win this game and they are going to want to do it with a try bonus point too. The Force have just run out of stream at the end of this season. It’s no surprise really when the Force were pulled together at the last minute and have had to live away from home for the whole season.

North v South – South by 3

Out of the starting 15 for the South only 3 players don’t play for the Crusaders. Put simply they will have more cohesion that the North and that’s what I’m backing to be the deciding factor.

Reds v Brumbies – Reds by 3

This game doesn’t matter for the final standings. I feel that the Reds need to win this more for their confidence going into the finals. Also the Brumbies aren’t tracking that well. Sure they are getting the wins but to only beat the Force by 17 points? The hunger of the Reds to win this one.

Bye – Waratahs

The Tahs will be watching the opening game of the weekend hoping that the Western Force can get their first win of the season.

Record So Far

12 from 18 or 66% so far, not great picking really.
