We now know tow out of the three teams that will be making the Super Rugby AU finals. The second game this weekend is all important as it’s the last game for the Waratahs.

Brumbies v Western Force – Brumbies by 30
The Force really have run out of steam in this competition. Initially they were challenging teams to fall away. In their last couple of games though they have been on the back of some real hidings.
The Brumbies finally put in a dominating performance in the second half last weekend. Up until then they have been getting the results (on the whole) but off the back of sub-standard performances by their standards. Things are looking grim for the Force this weekend.
Rebels v Waratahs – Rebels by 7
This is a crunch game. The Rebels have the Western Force up next weekend and that should be 5 points for them. That means the Waratahs have to win this weekend to have any hope of making it into the finals.
The problem is that the Tahs have only turned up to one game this season. The Rebels, even playing their home games away, should have too much for them.
Bye – Reds
The Reds have secured finals footie! There’s an outside chance that they can finish top of the table but that requires the Brumbies to lose to the Force…. and that’s not happening. They’ll be watching the Rebels v Waratahs closely to see who they are going to be meeting in the elimination final.
Record So Far
11 from 16 or 64% so far, I got both right last weekend 🙂
