Super Rugby AU 2020 Round 7 Predictions

Whilst there might be questions about the games going ahead this week on the other side of the Tasman, Super Rugby AU cracks on.

I’m testing my Super Rugby picks against the TAB in my series DrivingMaul v The Bookie. Check out how I did in Super Rugby restart Round 9.

Western Force v Waratahs – Waratahs by 10

The Force had last week off to recharge their batteries. They would also have been looking forward to this game being their best chance of picking up a victory.

Well that was until the Tahs turned up last weekend and put in a much improved performance to beat the Reds. The big question obviously is if they can repeat that kind of performance?

I’ve gone big saying that they can, if they do then this will be only the second time a team has beaten the Force by double digits.

Reds v Rebels – Rebels by 3

This is a really hard one to call! I’m expecting Steve to go with the Reds as he sees them as the second best team in Australia. I see it the other way round with the Rebels being the second best team.

However the Rebels are still having to live away from home due to the COVID19 situation in Victoria. The Reds are also playing at home so will have the advantage there. Still I’m going with a narrow win for the Rebels.

Bye – Brumbies

With their first loss last weekend the Brumbies will find this break useful to refocus. They still sit of the table so it’s not like they are in panic stations or anything but in a short season you can’t afford a slump of a couple of weeks.

Record So Far

8 from 12 or 66% so far, last weekend’s upsets didn’t help my record!
