Pro14 2018-2019 Round 14 Predictions

The 6 Nations might be just round the corner but that doesn’t stop domestic action. The Pro14 will be bashing it out with a few stars missing as they are rested for International battles to come.

Here is my video with my Pro14 Round 14 Predictions:

Glasgow Warriors v Ospreys – Glasgow Warriors by 5

Put simply even though Glasgow are in a mini slump they are still a strong side at home. On the other hand with only Ospreys with only 1 away win in the Pro14 this season don’t like travelling. So even with the uncertainties around access to international players it’s a home win.

Leinster v Scarlets – Leinster by 7

Leinster are the best side in Europe so you have to back them in every game. Scarlets injuries have played havoc with them this season and with only 1 win on the road their away form has really suffered.

Ulster v Benetton Treviso – Ulster by 3

Treviso have won their last 4 games in the Pro14 but that includes the Kings and Zebre twice. They lost to Ulster by 5 points at home and for all of Ulsters’ inconsistency they have only lost once at home in the Pro14.

Cheetahs v Zebre Rugby Club – Cheetahs by 7

Cheetahs have been improving and with all the turnover in players they were always going to take a while to jell. Zebre started the season well but 6 losses on the trot has really dented confidence and that includes a 15 point loss to Cheetahs at home last time out.

Dragons v Munster – Munster by 7

Munster were up and down initially this season but with only 1 loss since early October means Dragons don’t stand a chance.

Kings v Edinburgh – Edinburgh by 3

Edinburgh had a problem travelling but they look to have put that behind them. My only question marks are around who they travel with. I’m guessing that their internationals won’t be making the trip down to South Africa. So I’m going for a narrow away win, Kings only have 1 win all season so you’d be foolish to back them.

Cardiff Blues v Connacht Rugby – Cardiff Blues by 5

This is a hard one to call as it’s 2 teams that have been up and down. Some really good results mixed up with some questionable ones. I’m going to rely on Cardiff’s home record to call this one. They have only lost at home once in the Pro14 and that was by 1 point to Leinster.
