We are past the midway point of the Pro12 and it’s all still to play for but time is starting to run out for some sides in the lower half of the table. Here are my Pro 12 predictions.

How did your round 11 predictions go?
5 from 6, the all Italian clash caught me out.
Here are my 60 second predictions, read below for my thoughts behind them.
Zebre v Edinburgh
You will have read me say several times how the games involving the Italian sides are easy to predict. This time it’s a little different. Edinburgh aren’t playing well at the moment and Zebre have been putting in a couple of decent showings. 1 of those showings was away against Edinburgh where they picked up their only win of the season so far. Edinburgh will be looking for revenge but they are a poor traveling side so I’m going to go against conventional wisdom and back Zebre for the win.

Benetton Treviso v Glasgow Warriors
There aren’t the same issues with this game though. It should be a TBP away win for Glasgow.
Glasgow Warriors by 15
Leinster v Ulster
There has been controversy over the IRFU deciding who should be rested when. Leinster were missing many of their stars last weekend but they will be back for this game. With those players back they will be the favourites and they should be able to close the game out. Ulster have been up and down but are still in the fight for the playoff places so they would like to get something out of this game.
Leinster by 10
Connacht Rugby v Munster
Munster are on a roll but I’m not sure which players they will be allowed to play this weekend. It could be a real test of their depth. Connacht aren’t as impacted as they don’t have as many internationals. They are doing better than at the beginning of the season but they still aren’t up to the heights of last season. If Munster come weakened then they are in with a shout but otherwise I think it will be a step too far.

Scarlets v Cardiff Blues
Scarlets really got on a roll and having that victory over Toulon in the bank helps their confidence. They came up short last weekend but Ospreys are much improved on last season. Blues are an improved side too but they have a long way to go. This should be a Scarlets victory as they push for the playoffs.

Newport Gwent Dragons v Ospreys
Dragons do have the odd upset game in them but that tends to be on a Friday night at home. They haven’t been lucky with the scheduling here. Ospreys have climbed to second in the league and this should be another comfortable win.
