The inconsistency in the Rugby World Cup judiciary reached new heights overnight. As reported on Twitter two scots have been banned for 52 weeks after not showing due care.
The judicial decision went into detail how the two players involved had shown no care to the ears of sournding fans. Their flagrant reckless playing of the bagpipes had set a poor example for the youth in the glens. The judicial officer decided that an example had to be made of the two and that the punishment be extended as a deterant.
Reports are circulating that those in the corridors of power are worried that this could now take years to eradicate.
It has come to light that an Australian player received a much lighter ban earlier in the tournament. Authorities had been quick to deny that the length of ban had anything to do with perception of this being a Tier 2 instrument.
