Half the season is done and last week we managed a whole round without a red card! Here are my predictions for this coming weekend.
First here is a link to my review of last weekend’s action.
How did last weekend’s predictions go?
2 out of 6, an absolute shocker so let’s hope I can bounce back.
Crusaders v Chiefs
The Crusaders have been winning some games by large amounts but slipping up against the tougher opposition. The Chiefs were one of the favourite going into this season but haven’t really sparked so far. Still Chiefs have been getting the wins and I think they’ll take a close one.

Hurricanes v WaratahsÂ
Put simply the Canes haven’t lost yet and the Tahs are a shadow of themselves from last year. So I think we are looking at a home win but a couple of scores.

Highlanders v BluesÂ
The Blues might have pulled off their first win last weekend but they still only won due to the Brumbies missing more kicks. So another home win by a couple of scores.

Brumbies v Rebels
The Brumbies did slip up last weekend and it looks like the Rebels have finally found their own culture that is working. No longer are they a mixture of expensive imports. But even so I expect the Brumbies to bounce back.

Force v Stormers
One win out of eight games for the Force and this week they get to face a team that’s only lost to NZ sides. So it’s an away win but not by many.
Stormers by 5
Sharks v Bulls
Sharks are still missing players and the Bulls have got their season going so it’s another away win for a South African side.
Bulls by 8
Cheetahs v Reds
The Reds really shouldn’t be the bottom of the table but they clearly have no faith in their coach and so I think we will be seeing another Cheetahs win.
